I called Omer in the morning because he was in Pakistan. He was at the airport getting ready to board the plane. It was loud and noisy, so he said that he couldn't hear me and he would talk to me in Chicago. I didn't talk to him again until he got to Chicago. I told him that night after dinner when we had some quiet time to talk, just the two of us.
He was in shock and I cried.

I thought that the baby was a girl ( or at least I really hoped so!)
Omer thought that the baby was a boy.
Date of third Ultrasound: February 7th, 2010
We found out that day that it was a boy. I also found out that the weird tummy turns I was feeling, was actually the baby moving. I felt my tummy jump and saw the baby jump on the screen at the same time! The movies below are from this ultrasound.
Baby Mahmood's Characteristics: This baby is constantly moving. I can feel him in the lower right side of my tummy, flipping and turning. Whenever, I lay on my right side, I am guaranteed to feel a lot of movement the entire time.

The Birth Story... We had an appointment to have a 3D/4D Ultrasound on April 8th. After we went to our ultrasound appointment at Golden View Ultrasound in Chicago, we went out to eat at an African Restaurant on Belmont and Clark. While we were eating at the restaurant, I started to have a lot of pain. At first, I thought that is was just the baby stuck in an uncomfortable place or him kicking me in a funny place, but then it became really painful and evenly spaced. I called my mom and Doctor in a panic. Dr. Jenks asked me to come to the Birthing center to put me on a monitor just for precautionary reasons. Before we knew it we had to get back in the car. Omer fought an hour of traffic back to Downers Grove Good Samaritan Hospital, while I fought contractions that were less than 5 minutes apart. When we arrived at the Emergency room, I took a wheel chair up to the birthing center and found out that I was 5 cm dilated and had to have an emergency C-section. At 9:17 Mikyal was born without a name. Omer and I decided on his name shortly after the C-Section in the operating room. I was a bit emotional, Friday night we went out for dinner and ended up delivering a baby.
